The Comparisons

In order to make an accurate and fair comparison of Kangaroo Motorcaddies to an average Pull Cart and an average Man's Foot, a Turf Compression Formula will be used.

Turf Compression Formula:

Weight of Each Wheel Divided by Ground Contact Area.

Results given in pounds per square inch (p.s.i.)

Kangaroo Motorcaddies Turf Compression

3.22 p.s.i.
Front Wheel

3.71 p.s.i.
3.42 p.s.i.

*Note: Any Kangaroo Motorcaddie without the listed options above (seat, CaddieCommand, and brake) would result in lower weights and less turf compression.

Average Pull Carts w/ 30 lb. Bag of Club
Cart Weight: 44 lbs.
Weight Each Wheel: 22 lbs
Ground Contact Area per Wheel: 1.5"x2.5" = 3.75 sq. in

Turf Compression: 22 lbs/3.75 = 5.87 p.s.i.

Average Man's Foot
Average Weight: 165 lbs.
Average Shoe Size: 10
Ground Contact Area: 30.5 sq. in.

Turf Compression: 165 lbs/30.5 sq. in. = 5.41 p.s.i.

All The Numbers Really Mean

When you take into consideration all numbers, what they really add up to is that any Kangaroo Motorcaddie projects less damage onto your course's turf than a pull cart, an average man walking, and obviously a riding cart.
