Kangaroo provides Kangaroo Owners with one of the most durable batteries on the market. Your Kangaroo uses a maintenance-free, TG-31 sealed deep-cycle battery. Because it is maintenance free there is nothing to add or refill. It carries a full-year guarantee (on pro-rata basis) to safely power you through 18 holes of golf, no matter how long or hilly the course.

     Just recharge after each round of golf. We believe that using a 31-amp/hour battery is crucial. Competitor's batteries might carry you through a complete round of golf, but Kangaroo will make sure you finish with 30% more power.

     The TG-31 is small, lightweight and very powerful. Unlike a regular "cranking" battery used in your car that gives an engine a burst of starting current, the deep- cycle battery gives steady, moderate 12-volt output over the time it takes to play 18 holes of golf.

     The Kangaroo Deep-Cycle battery can be used on any model Kangaroo motorcaddie you purchase, from the earliest Deluxe models to the Hillcrest AB with CaddieCommand.


Battery Charger

     Kangaroo Products solid-state chargers are currently designed to charge 12 volt, deep-cycle, gel-cell batteries to a full charge and maintain them during long periods of inactivity. The standby-charging mode is sufficiently low to insure that the battery will not be "over-charged," thus extending the life of the battery.

     However, through the years Kangaroo Products has packaged several different charger types with motorcaddies. Certain chargers have been designed to work with certain batteries. Please refer to the Owners Club page for information that applies to your specific charger type. Using the wrong charger with the wrong battery may result in damage to your battery.
