The case can be secured in the trunk of your car. Using the 4 self-tapping screws mount the 2 hold-down bars to the floor of your trunk as pictured above. Use an ice pick or awl to punch small holes in your trunk floor for the screws. The holes only need to be large enough to get the screws started. Slide the strap through the mounted bars and snugly buckle it around the entire case.

You can also attach the case to a foot square piece of ½" plywood. This will give the case and battery a large base, preventing it from tipping over.

     The battery can be charged while it's in the carrying case. Remove the cover and attach the charger to your battery terminals.

     Do not replace the cover while the battery is charging.

     Do not hold matches or cigarettes near any battery when charging, because batteries will vent small quantities of flammable hydrogen and oxygen.
